Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Every 34 minutes Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a critical illness in the United States and its territories. We’re on a quest to bring every eligible child’s wish to life – a goal that is born from the idea that a wish is an integral part of a child’s treatment. Our vision is to grant a wish to every eligible child in San Diego and Imperial Counties.
Beating Cancer is in our Blood. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and improve the quality of life for our patients and their families. We are one of the largest cancer organizations in the country focused on research. In 2017 alone, we funded 15 of 18 new treatments approved by the FDA for all cancers. Through research, patient support and education, and advocacy, our goal is a world without cancer. Be part of the cures.

Helping families today, finding a cure for tomorrow
There are 84,000 people living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias in San Diego County, and more than 250,000 people who love and care for them. We are here to ensure no San Diegan has to face this disease alone.
Alzheimer’s San Diego is a local and independent nonprofit organization with deep roots in the community. We help families impacted by dementia by providing a wide range of innovative programs and services – all of which are free! We also support San Diego’s world-class scientists working on finding a cure, through research grants and by connecting people with clinical trials.
As a truly local nonprofit, 100% of all donations stay in San Diego County to help the community we know and love.
