CHOOSE YOUR TEAM:

Kaely’s Kindness Foundation helps teens with cancer with their unique emotional, physical and practical needs.

Their mission is to transform, uplift, and enrich the lives of sick, disabled, and disadvantaged children in Western New York.

We create dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. This is a place that only the child can dream or imagine while addressing their medical needs. Our focus is answering one question; Where does a child go when battling a serious illness to find peace and comfort?

Special Spaces was founded in July 2004 on the precedent that children battling life-threatening illnesses need their own special space. This is a place of hope and inspiration, and a special space to find peace and comfort.

Stone’s Buddies is an Oishei Children’s Hospital program that supports families coping with chronic and life-threatening illness.  Created in memory of former patient Stone Filipovich, the mission of the program is to provide a network of resources, support, friendship and fun for the many “frequent flyers” that regularly use our institution.

This program is for children with life-threatening illness, as well as the patients who struggle daily with special needs and feelings of isolation due to the nature of their chronic illness. Our goal is to connect these patients with others in similar circumstances, teach them and their families coping strategies to better deal with the challenges they face both at the hospital and at home, and serve as a bridge between the patients and those in the community who want to help.

The Young Adult Program at Roswell Park’s goal is to eliminate cancer’s grip on humanity by unlocking its secrets through personalized approaches and unleashing the healing power of hope.

Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.”  We look forward to working with you and thank you for inviting us to participate.

Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

At our core, we believe a single wish transforms lives.  It is what unites us, what we strive for and ultimately, what we do every single day.

To operate as a no-kill rescue (never euthanizing for space or time served)
To take in cats, dogs, puppies and kittens in need, within our means (“In need” meaning abandoned/owner surrenders, saved from high kill shelters, strays from animal control officers or removed from puppy mills)
To provide safe housing, quality food, medical care (including vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment and spay/neuter) and love to all pets in our care until suitable, responsible and loving, permanent homes can be found through a strict screening process.
To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering which controls the pet overpopulation, responsible pet ownership, and the humane treatment of animals.
To educate the public on the horrors of puppy mills and pet store/internet puppies for sale
To assist in spaying/neutering pets for low income families, as funds allow, which will aid in population control

About the Event

The 12 Bars of Buffalo was created this year to help local charities build awareness, attract local members, and raise money for their organizations. In addition, we aim to drive revenue to the local bars and restaurants. We are expecting to raise over $7,000 for local Buffalo charities! When you purchase a ticket, $10 goes directly to the charity you sign up under.
